Good morning America! This is a beautiful September morning on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Just finished my super healthy breakfast: plain 0% Siggi’s Yogurt with mixed trail nuts; favorite figs; hard boiled eggs and a cup of freshly brewed coffee. There are a lot of benefits of having healthy, nutritional breakfast, but what also cool about that – it makes you moderately full and energized for the whole day. This breakfast idea takes about 15 min to be ready, which is perfect for busy people in a rush.
Below I broke down my morning routine for you as an example of how to start your day great and stay efficient the rest of the day.
- 6-8 AM
I am an early bird. The first thing to do in the morning is to have a glass of water with lemon/lemon juice that was prepared the day before. It makes my digestion work better and immune system stronger in winter time. Then I do some yoga exercises/meditation or cardio. If I do cardio I have protein shake/half of banana or protein bar. After that I start to plan my day if I didn’t do it the day before or just thinking about some upcoming things to do.
- 9-10 AM
Breakfast time is the most important meal of the day! I love reading magazines, articles while eating my breakfast not to devour everything at once. Dressing up, taking care of my hair, doing light make-up and ready to go.
- 11 AM
I start my job.
- 7 PM
I usually get home by 6-7 PM, doing some errands at home, having dinner, reading a book, replying on emails or watching some movies.
Thats the approximate model of my weekday. I have a stressful job, so I like relaxing at home with my laptop, writing some posts, cooking, taking a long bubble bath, working out – thats my ways to relax.
