Greenport, Long Island

Whеn mоѕt реорlе think оf the North Fоrk of Lоng Island, they have wineries, bеасhеѕ and ѕummеr on their minds. Althоugh thе Nоrth Fоrk is a great place to visit іn the wаrmеr months, there аrе аlѕо mаnу thіngѕ to dо in the area year-round.
This nice town has the friendliest locals around, ready to help and are very likely to start a conversation with you.
If you plan on making a trip to North Fork I hope this spot recommendations below will help you to get the best experience of yours.

Greenporter Hotel

The best place to stay. Its a lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff, moderate prices and clean rooms. The most important factor for visitors is the location: on the Front Street, almost in the middle of all the action in Greenport.

Aldo’s Coffee

This is the best coffee and biscotti I have ever tried in my life!!!I’m not exaggerating.
You should definitely have Aldo’s experience in Greenport.

Now, if you liked Aldo’s spot, try the Affogato here. Its so delicious.
Noah’s offers a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere with a local farm to table menu as well as one of the best local wine lists around!
I loved their clam chowder appetizer; selection of oysters and desserts. My travel companion loved his kobe beef burger.

Check the list of Greenport’s Vineyards here.
My favorites ones are Kontokosta Winery, Bedell Celars, Raphael.

Moreover, Marina Park arranges dance nights with live band on Mondays. I highly recommend to check it out.
